Our theme this year is “Marriage a genesis of hope, a fountain of renewal in your journey towards lasting love!”
This theme emphasizes the idea that marriage between a man and a woman as designed by God, can be the genesis, the foundation, of hope and the motivation, stimulation for renewal in life, a transformation of the heart. It motivates couples to grow in their love that endures time and will also serve as a Godly influence in their family and community for generations to come.

Genesis of Hope:
When established with a commitment of love and devotion with Christ at its centre, marriage can offer fortitude and resiliency under trying circumstances. For both husband and wife, it can provide consolation, encouragement, and support.
Fountain of Renewal:
Within marriage, there is the opportunity to refresh the relationship, increasing the joy and closeness of husband and wife. There is a continuing process of growth and development between husband and wife, as well as with their relationship to Christ.
Journey towards Lasting Love:
This emphasizes the importance of focused effort and commitment in creating strong, enduring love. Husband and wife need proactively to nurture and strengthen their bond for a happier, healthier relationship.
Marriage Week gives an opportunity to honour marriages, to celebrate marriage as the foundation of our families and our nation—in which love is shared, faith is nurtured, and values like patience and forgiveness practised. It’s a chance for married couples to strengthen their marriage through quality time together, praying together, open conversations and more.
