Peter has been married to his wife Anthea Keep for 39 years and have Two married daughters and Five granddaughters.

Peter was Saved in 1975 and has been in paid Christian Ministry since 1982 when Peter started as the Pastor at Romaine Park Christian Centre, in Tasmania. Then, in 1991, Peter and his familiy moved back to Melbourne where for the following 18 years would lead as the the Pastor at Warrandyte Community Church.

Peter is passionate about the Bible and its application to spiritual and community life. He is keen to use his experience for the good of others in leadership. His role in ministry for the Community Churches would continue as he transitioned into a role for CCCVaT in 2010 as a part time Pastor of Church Development. That year he also started the HELP CHARITABLE TRUST whose mission is training and resourcing pastors and their projects in developing countries.

In 2012, Peter continued his ministry as part time Pastor at Ringwood Community Church. Earlier this year, Peter handed on the role as Pastor to Pastor Jimmy Yen at Ringwood Community Church.

Peter is now devoting his time to the work of HELP in an non-salaried capacity. The work of HELP is focussed, at present, on the countries of Rwanda, South Africa and Tanzania. Peter has led teams each year on mission trips to Africa since 2010, with the exception of 2020.

Peter enjoys working and fellowship with Andrew Fisher and the team at WCC.
